In the latest wps it states clearly that proof of taxes remitted must accompany wp renewels. You or your school will need to file taxes. You will need a tax id to do this as well.

It's in my English version of my contract that the agency is paying taxes. I was at the revenue department a few months ago, but all I could find out was that the agency had sent something, the way I understood it, a letter to the main revenue department in Bangkok.

But nobody could tell me if my tax was paid, nor could I receive the obligatory slip to show at the labor department. Fortunately, did nobody ask me for that and I'll have to see them again.

I could extend my visa from a Non-0, ME, based on marriage to a Non-B at the local immigration without bigger problems.

The extension of my work permit was done in a few minutes. No question regarding tax was asked.
