In the new year I was hired to teach in a gov school international program, teaching 'subject A' with the understanding that I would transfer to teaching 'subject B' (my specialism) once a 'subject A' teacher could be found.
A month later, the school hired a teacher to teach 'subject A' & I transferred to teaching 'subject B' but was fired at the end of March.
I was sent a message on the Line application @5pm on Friday stating that I had not passed probation, accompanied by a photo of the termination letter.
The letter referred to 'the contract stating that the employee was employed as a 'subject B' teacher...' but my contract states that I was employed to teach 'subject A'.
So...have I been legally fired? I have a non-B visa but don't have a WP / extension.
EDIT: The (photo of the) termination letter was on headed notepaper & was signed by the director but did not have an official stamp.
